One of the first truly mass produced products that people across the nation could share all together. There was a time when each region had their own tastes and culture. Coca Cola united a nation together for a shared taste experience. There was the comfort of knowing that no matter where you were, how far you traveled from home, you could get a Coca Cola and feel instantly at home.

So Coca Cola is so much more than just a sugary drink, it is a product that has defined not only a nation, but a culture. It is an example of American ingenuity, and production. Being the first of an icon, only to be followed up by countless others. Although there may be many drinks that will come and will go out of the grocery stores, there is one that will always hold that prominent place in the hearts of the American people. For American's a coke will always be a Coke, and no other substitute will do.
